This holiday season Marni has come out with two charitable projects to help those less fortunate. The first is called “In a World of My Own,” which is a line of 240 cotton shopping bags with paintings from children living in Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala, Tibet, and India. The bags will be sold in-store only at Marni boutiques. The second project inspired by “Dreams of Growing Up” involves 5 select paintings that were screened onto gray and white cotton t-shirts and tank tops. These will be available soon at Marni stores and Marni.com. The proceeds of these original totes and shirts will be divided between schools and hospitals in order to help raise the quality of life for the children in these countries. We’re loving these designs, almost as much as the brand’s runway collection. Who can resist? I’m already in line for the lone stick figure. ~ Maria Denardo
