Fighters and Flowers

Roberto Cavalli

Last night we headed uptown to the Roberto Cavalli boutique on Madison Avenue (No we weren’t looking for a super sexy Valentine’s Day dress). Cavalli was in town to host a celebration for Fighters and Flowers, a story by Michael Roberts. To fete the book, which features images of aggressive men, beautiful women and lush florals, Roberto Cavalli Vodka cocktails flowed. Padma Lakshmi stopped by to greet Roberts and Cavalli, and a sashless Miss Universe spent much of the evening on the Italian designer’s arm.  Glam managed to get a few moments with the affable Cavalli:

So what do you prefer, fighters of flowers?
The flower. I love the flower really much more. To me its much more natural and beautiful. Feathers are more….well I feel like they are dying!

You seem like a romantic guy, do you have any Valentine’s Day plans?
Not yet unfortunately, because we didn’t have time. But tomorrow morning I will have my whole day to think about who I love and who loves me. That’s the most important part.
