Luca Luca fulfilled our Eloise fantasies Monday afternoon. Designer Raoul Melgoza showed his Fall 2009 collection at The Plaza.  Instead of a runway show, the brand chose the glamorous Palm Court for a salon style presentation, complete with round tables, regal couches and petits fours. The clothing was fit for high tea and the lady who lunches, with the occasional fur thrown in for good measure. But we couldn’t help but notice a piece or two that seemed tailor made for Michelle Obama, whose own abode may be one of the few that rivals The Plaza’s elegance. ~ Nola Weinstein
