Teens Turning Green is encouraging high schoolers to back away from the aerosol can of hairspray this prom season. Prom prep can be a dizzying experience, but this doesn’t mean you can’t stay environmentally savvy. Project Green Prom sponsored by Whole Foods Market is challenging students to a contest where teens must submit a video explaining how they plan on “greening” their prom this spring. The winner will receive a prize package including a trip to NYC, an eco-friendly prom dress and beauty products. Sustainability never looked so stylish. Enter by March 30th at TeensTurningGreen.org.
