This past Tuesday evening we had the opportunity to kick it in LA. Reebok invited a slew of celebs to a beautiful manse in the Hollywood Hills to experience EasyTones, the brand’s revolutionary shoe. Though the house is where Paris Hilton sought her new bff for the reality shoe, but this week her old bestie Kim Kardashian and family took it over with their amazing physiques. Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and their mom Kris Jenner arrived in the most comfy red carpet wear. They paired their EasyTones with leggings, tees and sweaters. (an ensemble that played in sharp contrast to our dress and heels.) DJ Samantha Ronson spun for the crowd as guests like Vanessa Minnillo, Kendra Wilkinson, Regina King, Mel B, Stacy Keibler, Karina Smirnoff and Taryn Manning arrived in their comfy and effective footwear, which allows busy woman to work their butt up to 28% more effectively than other sneakers. Not bad! “I’m such a sneakers and jeans kind of girl so anytime I can wear this I’m happy,” said Minnillo. “First of all you don’t get corns and with these I’m actually working out my butt right now.” And based on the enviable derrieres circulating the backyard, we’re believers.

The shoes tone key butt and leg muscle groups by using balance pods built into the shoe. “If you’ve seen those balance balls at the gym that you stand up on so while your doing those other exercises at the gym your balancing on this, and when you balance you force different leg muscles to fire, the pods on these sneakers are based on that ball,” said Bill McInnis from Reebok Advanced Concepts, who is the mastermind behind she shoes and a former rocket scientist to boot. “Every muscle that women are thinking about toning, EasyTone takes care of.”
By evening’s end, the sneakers were the only way to go. So we shed our gladiator heels for a fresh pair and sauntered down the driveway with our portable gym toning us as we went on our way. For your own pair visit Reebok.com and get toned! ~Nola Weinstein
