Jason Wu walked the red carpet outside Harry Winston’s 5th Avenue store; the sought-after designer (with a model wearing one of his SS 2010 designs) was there to celebrate the New York Collection by Harry Winston. We think the regal jewels would be stunning with one of his feminine concoctions! Read on to find out what’s on Wu’s mind.

Glam: What’s been the best part of your day today?

Jason Wu: You know it’s having fun. It’s coming here and being able to relax because I worked all day.

Glam: If Harry Winston could custom make you anything in the world, what would it be?

Jason Wu: I think it would be a ring because I’ve always wanted to wear one but I’ve actually never been able to keep any jewelry of mine for more than 48 hours. I lose everything.

Glam: What would you imagine the ring to look like?

Jason Wu: Well, a little diamond never hurt anybody!

Glam: Who’s star style are you really into lately?

Jason Wu: I love Freida Pinto. I think she’s beautiful…and Diane Kruger. She was one of my muses and I’ve dressed her many times. We’re good friends.

Glam: What would you like to see Freida wear if you could dress her?

Jason Wu: I don’t know. I think she would look good in everything!
