In true Custo Barcelona fashion, bright colors, graphic prints, and elaborate detailing ruled the runway for SS 2010. Over 1,000 guests and press packed into the tent to see a collection centered around movement and lightness. Custo’s “Air Show” was flying high with floor-length transparent dresses, attention grabbing minis, evening boleros, and teeny weeny bikinis. If you can picture the sizzle and sass of Miami, the preppiness of the Hamptons, and the tribal influence of the Islands in one dynamite look, you’ll get a good idea of what the spring/summer vision entailed. One model in particular stole the show with her upbeat energy and fierce catwalk (see middle pic above). Kudos to Custo; girl’s got swagger! ~ Maria Denardo
