L.L. Bean is back again. For the past few years the only encounter we had with L.L. Bean was on the way to the Hamptons where we encountered many a monogram canvas tote. But yesterday evening we had the opportunity to preview the new L.L. Bean Signature Collections for men and women.  Creative director Alex Carleton introduced a line of easy breezy separates that college prepsters and beach bound fashionistas will be coveting. Classic springy prints and bright colors mixed with versatile neutrals for a grounded and sporty aesthetic.  With lobster and lager being passed around, editors were able to envision these duds at the ultimate clambake.
