At last night’s 2009 Glamour Women of the Year Awards, Stella McCartney took to the stage of Carnegie Hall with some mild trepidation. The eco chic designer was gripping at the bottom of her purple mini dress. When she reached the microphone, McCartney gave the young women seated in the balcony a bit of advice — “Ladies up there, never wear a skirt this short!”
