Magnificent in Marchesa at the 2012 SAG Awards

No red carpet is complete without a healthy dose of Marchesa. And at last night’s Screen Actors Guild Harvey Weinstein wasn’t the only member of his household to benefit. Weinstein may have scored with Jean Dujardin’s Best Actor win for The Artist, but his wife Georgina Chapman dressed Best Actress Viola Davis. Davis, who got lots of stage time thanks to The Help’s pseudo-sweep, wore a custom Marchesa strapless Grecian silk chiffon gown with antique gold embroidered detail.

And that wasn’t it for Marchesa. Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara made her presence known in a custom raspberry silk satin crepe sculpted fishtail gown, while Stacy Keibler accessorized her custom black French hand corded lace, fishtail gown with some very handsome arm candy. Though her boyfriend George Clooney didn’t take home the Best Actor award, he did leave with one of the best dressed ladies in the room.

And with the Oscars right around the corner, we’re eagerly awaiting some major Marchesa moments.
