#NYFW Fall 2012: Richard Chai Love Fall 2012
By Nola Weinstein February 09,2012
Richard Chai sent his models stomping down the runway Thursday morning. With his pal Phillip Lim sitting front row, the designer brought out the Dr. Martens and a collection that paired so perfectly with them. For Fall 2012, Chai effectively fused masculine silhouettes and details with feminine prints and cuts. Cargo pockets, holsters, and other military-inspired elements adorned ladylike dresses and jackets, while oversized boyfriend blazers were treated to bold patterns. Stripes ran across the collection in black, grey, cobalt, and maroon creating a cohesive range of separates for the modern woman’s wardrobe.
