#NYFW Charlotte Ronson Fall 2012

Structured leather pieces, slick lines, and a polished aesthetic ruled the runway at Charlotte Ronson‘s Fall 2012 runway show. The modern, pilot-inspired gloves and hats gave way to looks we’re not used to seeing from Ronson, who’s known for clothes with a 90′s party girl feel. Hats matched gloves which matched tights, lending to what Ronson described as a “retro ski aesthetic”. Ronson kept it clean and polished with leather pencil skirts, chunky knits, and jewel colored tights. Twin sister DJ Samantha Ronson set the mood of the show with a playlist that included M.I.A. and Sleigh Bells, which perfectly complemented Ronson’s sophisticated edge.
