Club Monaco’s “Beach Boutique” is back just in time for summer. The annual capsule collection features a variety of dresses, breezy skirts, lace tanks, and embroidered shorts and vests in rich textures inspired by the bohemian spirit and ease of exotic vacations. To complement the all-white apparel, the retailer collaborated with a variety of fair trade organizations to bring colorful accessories from around the world.

Club Monaco worked with the Global Goods Partners to offer hand-embroidered woven bags from the Thailand-Burma border, beaded jewelry from Guatemala, and scarves from India. Messenger bags with one-of-a-kind patterns and colors were created for the retailer through the Wayuu Taya Foundation that assists the indigenous Wayuu population in the Guajira Peninsula. An exclusive hat was hand-woven for the retailer through Pachacuti, which helps provide primary income for traditional artisans in the Andes Mountains. MADE collaborated with the brand to produce three exclusive hand-made jewelry styles from their workshop in Nairobi, Kenya. Snagging any of the beachy bags or baubles will not only look good in any vacation locale, they’ll also do a world of good.
