Instead of going for the gold, Michelle Obama went with a bit of silver. The First Lady attended a reception in London this evening to kickoff the Olympic Opening Ceremony. For her visit to Buckingham Palace Obama wore a J. Mendel white viscose techno crepe tailored jacket with overlapped side panels and silver embroidery and ivory silk faced chiffon pleated skirt from the 2013 Resort collection. Sure her outfit was lovely, but we’re wondering if she gave Queen Elizabeth II a hug this time.
