Michael Phelps is getting in the water again, and it’s not to chase another gold medal. The record-breaking Olympic swimmer is reportedly the new face of Louis Vuitton. In a campaign allegedly shot by Annie Leibovitz, Phelps can be seen sitting in a full bathtub wearing his signature Speedo and goggles while a monogrammed LV bag sits beside him. In another photo from the rumored campaign, Phelps was captured chatting with the former most decorated Olympic athlete, Larisa Latynina of Russia with a monogrammed duffle under his feet.

Though Louis Vuitton has denied the images belong to the brand, this wouldn’t be the first time an athlete has been tapped to tote the lavish luggage; Muhammad Ali was recently shot for an ad with his grandson, Curtis. Phelps is unquestionably an icon, who has already inspired a generation so Vuitton’s choice is a solid one. We can’t wait to see the final product break in magazines worldwide.
