So with the US Open Tennis Championships beginning again at Arthur Ashe stadium, Vogue commissioned select designers and influencers to put their signature spin on those iconic yellow balls. Peter Som, Dana Lorenz of Fenton, Pamela Love, Erickson Beamon, Maria Sharapova, the boys of Warby Parker, Chris Peters and Shane Gabier of Creatures of the Wind, Marcus Wainwright and David Neville of Rag & Bone, Tory Burch, Eddie Borgo, Monique Lhuillier, and Diane von Furstenberg lent their aesthetics to the bright neon hue, accenting it with studs, stitching and one precious pout. These may be too beautiful to play with, but they certainly are the perfect centerpiece for the tennis obsessed!
