Anne Hathaway has chosen who will design her dress for her upcoming nuptials, and it’s none other than iconic designer, Valentino Garavani. He broke the news himself at last night’s New York City Ballet Fall Gala held in his honor. According to People, the head of the Italian fashion house initially hinted that he would weave his magic for Hathaway’s bridal gown back in December when her engagement was announced! The starlet has stunned on the red carpet in many of his confections on numerous occasions, including when she hosted the Oscars in 2011 and at last night’s gala. Plus, the pair is more like family than friends. “She’s a very good friend of mine,” he said. “She’s like my daughter!” We’re curious to find out the details of her entire enviable wedding ensemble,  but we’ll have to stay tuned to see what the blushing bride turns up in on her big day!
