Taylor Swift has dominated music charts and beauty counters for a while, but now her new target is the shoe section. In honor of the upcoming release of her album, Red, Swift has collaborated with Keds to craft a pair of ruby red sneakers. The limited edition red Champions feature the album’s title printed on the heel of the canvas upper. But the sneakers are just the starting point of the three-year deal, as the Grammy winner will take part in a multimedia campaign that encourages young women to inspire and motivate one another through stories of strength and build a global community of brave girls with scholarship opportunities, social media initiatives, and video. The partnership was perfect fit for the singer-songwriter. “I’m so excited to be partnering with Keds, “ she said. “I’ve been a fan of Keds for years because they have two of my favorite elements of great style—they’re classic and effortless.”
