Emma Roberts Celebrates Her Namesake Sunglasses with Nanette Lepore
By Valis Vicenty October 19,2012
Emma Roberts has been a fashionista since she first stepped on the scene and as she’s grown up, she’s become an inspiration to many, namely Nanette Lepore. Last night the pair, along with CFDA CEO Steven Kolb, unveiled the “Emma” sunglass created in partnership with Luxottica and Vogue Eyewear. Roberts’ playful yet chic aesthetic paired with other classic Hollywood icons like Marilyn Monroe served as the inspiration for the snazzy specs. Guests tried on the shades in the virtual photo booths, sipped champagne, and received tarot card readings all to the tunes of DJ Kiss. Glam got the chance to quickly chat with the starlet, who wore a Nanette Lepore pantsuit paired with Louboutins, to find out how the collaboration came about, what’s on her holiday shopping list, and if she’ll design her own eyewear. How did the collaboration come about? How involved were you with the design process? Do you think that you’ll create your own piece of eyewear with Nanette? Since the holidays are right around the corner, have you started creating you shopping list yet? The Nanette Lepore for Vogue Eyewear Emma Sunglasses are available at SunglassHut.com for $129.95 Glam Editor BlogsLatest PostsStar Scoop: Anne Hathaway Broadway Bound, Jon Hamm to Host ESPYs, Nicole Kidman Takes on the Ca...
