The designer topped the UK’s Google Zeitgeist 2012 fashion-related searches, which is being released country-by-country, beating out Karl Lagerfeld and Victoria’s Secret. It’s no surprise as McCartney dressed Team Great Britain at this year’s Olympic games and scored the top prize the British Fashion Awards. Lagerfeld certainly made a splash by adding his touch to almost everything this year while the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show reached new heights by recruiting top models like Karlie Kloss and Jourdan Dunn to strut the glittering catwalk.
