A cry of delight was heard ’round the world when Jason Wu announced that he’d be creating a contemporary line called Miss Wu. And now, at long last, it’s almost ready to be released! In anticipation of the launch, Wu worked with Meghan Collison and director Todd Cole to film a short video, displaying the personality that is the Miss Wu girl. “She’s a little more worn in, a little grittier, her hair is a little messier, her makeup might be from the night before,” explained Wu to Fashionista.

When the collection hits stores, (and Nordstrom for pre-order exclusively) it will include 40-60 pieces ranging from blouses, sweaters, and outerwear with an opening for different categories such as accessories in subsequent seasons. Wu even hinted at the possibility of a beauty line in the future!
