With Hedi Slimane‘s appointment to Saint Laurent Paris came not only a name change but a fresh new perspective. Julia Nobis stars in the brand’s Spring 2013 campaign, which marks the first full collection (excluding resort) designed by Slimane. The black and white images, shot by Slimane, give off an air of dark magic, while Nobis poses her way through some of his beautifully created designs. Oversized hats shade her face just a touch while sequined embellishments balance the slight menswear factor. As the show opener, it’s not surprising to see Nobis as the face of the campaign, but Part Two, starring Edie Campbell is still yet to come!
