Don’t expect to see Chris Benz near Lincoln Center next month. Women’s Wear Daily is reporting that the designer is taking a season off from New York Fashion Week to focus on restructuring his business. Back in September, Benz repositioned his label for the contemporary market for the Spring 2013 season and is looking to continue improvements. “We have received great feedback from the marketplace after just one season, “ Benz told the publication. “ I want ample time to implement all that we have learned.” We’ll just have to wait until September to see what Benz has up his sleeve for evolving line.
