Anne Hathaway takes her wardrobe choices very seriously. The Les Misérables star is always tops on the red carpet and she arrived at today’s AFI Awards Luncheon dressed impeccably for both the occasion and the uncharacteristically chilly LA weather. Hathaway opted for yet another stunning Oscar de la Renta look–this one both elegant and appropriate for an afternoon affair.

But her ensemble caused a bit of confusion.  ”Great skirt!,” said Hugh Jackman as he greeted his co-star on the way into the Four Seasons Hotel. “Thank you, but it’s actually a dress,” she retorted. In Jackman’s defense, her black jacket and floral bottom looked like a perfectly coordinated look. Regardless, the Golden Globe nominee’s weekend is off to a stellar sartorial start!
