Ch-ch-check it out stylistas, we have a fashion face-off on our hands. The trending look is Louis Vuitton’s checkered print dress from the design house’s Spring 2013 line. Worn by actresses Kerry Washington, Jessica Alba and Kirsten Dunst in three different styles, the iconic square pattern is aligned with classic mod style and retro cool meets feminine sophistication. Kerry Washington nailed the look with a 60s inspired bouffant topped off with an adorable oversized bow, a chic box bag and classic pointed pumps. The entire look, from head to toe, stuck to a consistent theme that played off of the dress’s style. Next up would have to be Jessica Alba. We appreciate that she kept things simple with plain black accessories that allowed the dress to shine. Her bold red lip and romantic side bun were the perfect finishing touches for this feminine look. Kirsten Dunst’s body hugging version of the dress definitely got our attention, but we wish her styling choices were different. A simple undo would have shown off the gown’s gorgeous scoop neck. We’re also super curious about those pointy pumps peeking out from under her skirt. She may have benefited from a hem lift. What do you think of each of their looks?
