Many count Alice + Olivia as a staple brand when it comes to stylish frocks, but Fall 2013 could attract more onlookers for what’s under those flirty dresses as they branch into legwear!

On February 11th, Alice + Olivia will debut its Fall 2013 collaboration along with Pretty Polly–a UK-based legwear line–during the brand’s New York Fashion Week presentation. Stacey Bendet, the brand’s chief executive officer and creative officer of Alice + Olivia, thought thought working with Pretty Polly would be seamless.

“I love legwear,” she said. “I feel like it’s such an important component to how we style and wear our clothes. It’s sexy, girly and fun.” The new collection of tights will include the basics as well as fashion tights in polka dots, plaids, black, navy, plum, dark red and green.

Alice + Olivia’s president, Deanna Berkeley, called the new legwear line a “natural extension” for the brand. “This collaboration with Pretty Polly is the first step to a larger strategic initiative of the brand’s development in the hosiery category,” WWD reported.
