Joan Smalls is a billowing beauty in Prabal Gurung’s Spring 2013 campaign!

The designer was initially inspired by the woork of artist Anish Kapoor as well as the set up of his Spring show back in September that took place in a warehouse with no air conditioning. Industrial fans blew hot air throughout the space, but the effect was so good that Gurung wanted to recreate it for his Spring ad campaign.

Shot by Daniel Jackson, Smalls poses in the breezy pieces that reflect the same haze as the September show. The ads will hit the newsstands in the pages of March issues of magazines.
