DKNY x Opening Ceremony’s ‘90s Revival
By Valis Vicenty January 31,2013
The ‘90s are alive once again in Opening Ceremony, thanks to DKNY. The brand and retailer are coming together on a capsule collection that pulls 15 DKNY looks from its early ‘90s archive. The branded pieces feature its signature body conscious silhouettes paired with its New York landscape print, including a cropped puffer jacket, logo tee, body suit, leggings, a hooded jumpsuit from 1991, hooded logo dress, a colorblocked jumpsuit, and more. Opening Ceremony has been a long-time fan of the iconic New York brand. “DKNY was a pioneer of streetwear fashion in the Nineties,” Opening Ceremony cofounder Carol Lim told Women’s Wear Daily. “We have been longtime fans of the brand and were very excited to bring back select, quintessential styles that feel fresh even today.” The collection will be available at Opening Ceremony boutiques in New York, Los Angeles, London, Tokyo, and OpeningCeremony.us on Feb 1st for $145-$665.
