After Pantone named emerald the hue to debut this year, it was only a matter of time before we started seeing our favorite celebrities sporting grassy shades and lush forest palettes. Katy Perry went for a popular spring pastel, choosing a mint green Gucci gown that may or may not have disregarded CBS’ mandate entailing the standard of dress decency (not that we think anyone was complaining). Florence Welch stole the show, even without the machine behind her, in head to toe Givenchy and Sorellina jewelry. Are those dragon spikes, Flo? You truly are a style sorceress. The last look that had us green with envy came from Beyonce’s little sis, entertainer Solange Knowles. Her sparkling Ralph & Russo Couture gown paired with Lorraine Schwartz jewels dazzled. And 100 points for in the beauty department too-we loved how her beautiful, head turning natural hair upped the edge of a more conservative styled silhouette.
