Bobbi Brown Is Breaking Into the Eyewear Game

We all know and love Bobbi Brown for her mastery of all things beauty and proclamation that “makeup is a way for a woman to look and feel like herself, only prettier and more confident.” Now, the Chicago native is giving us another reason to fall in love with her all over again — she’s giving us a new way to dress up our eyes.
She signed a deal with Safilo Group to manufacture a line of eyeglasses and sunglasses for a 2014 release. “As a makeup artist, I have looked at women’s faces for over 20 years and believe that my beauty expertise will translate naturally into eyewear, identifying the best silhouettes and colors for a woman’s face shape, skin tone and lifestyle,” Brown told Women’s Wear Daily.
This will be Brown’s first foray into a business model that doesn’t center around cosmetics… and a guaranteed add on our lists of wants for future seasons! And since Katie Holmes is currently the face of her brand, we can only wonder if she’ll stick around long enough to bring Brown’s first eyewear ads to life!
