The 2013 Academy Awards are upon us. And while we’re eager to see who wins, we’re esepecially excited to see what the leading ladies wear?

Emmauelle Riva’s performance in Amour, has her predicted to beat out Jennifer Lawrence and Jessica Chastain to win the Oscar for Best Actress. We’re pretty excited to see what the 85-year-old wears considering that she has only left Paris a handful of times to do publicity for the film, mostly in Europe.

When she did publicity in Cannes, she wore a silk caftan. So if history is any indication,  Riva is not willing to sacrifice comfort for style. Rightfully so.Though her French roots will likely lead her in the direction of Chanel, Valentino, or even Lanvin, we think she would look stunning in the stunning Jenny Packham Fall 2013 gown pictured above..

Amy Adams is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the movie, The Master.  She isn’t particularly tied to one style of dress or color, which is what we like about Amy. She’s fun to watch on the red carpet and usually opts for a major pop. This year, when Adams attends the Oscars we hope she continues her bright trajectory in this cobalt gown from Oscar de la Renta’s Fall 2013 collection.

Sally Field is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Lincoln and as one of the show’s vets, we’re sure she’ll go with something classically elegant. This awards season she’s already worn Antonio Berardi, Alberta Feretti and J. Mendel so perhaps she too will pick Packham this time around. And in the spirit of Americana, we’d love to see her in the scarlet red beaded Jenny Packham confection from the designer’s Fall 2013 collection.
