How’s this for a midweek pick-me-up? Alexis Bittar and Nicola Formichetti are collaborating to expand their already existing working relationship in the name of accessories for Mugler!

Just in time for the brand’s Fall 2013 runway show, today, Bittar and Formichetti announced their newest creations to tease editors and fans prior to the showing in Paris at La Halle Freyssinet. The two have worked together in the past on collaborations for Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Madonna, Alicia Keys and Cameron Diaz.

“This season, the collection for Mugler has a retro Sixties vein to it, so we focused on futuristic physics in jewelry, where sculptural metal is almost kinetically suspended from the body, Bittar told Women’s Wear Daily of his newest runway effort.
