Ocean Pacific launched it’s Summer 2013 collection, most appropriately, with a pool party hosted by Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland. She became the face of the brand in 2012 and was on hand to talk about her favorite beach wares.

We asked the starlet how she thought her style differed from the character she plays on the Emmy Award-winning comedy series, Haley Dunphy. Hyland’s answer? Not much! “When it comes to OP, I think we actually would wear the same things,” Hyland told us poolside at the Room Mate Grace Hotel in New York. “I think that Haley would like the pink, fringe, tie-dye bathing suit, and I really like that as well.” What else does the 21-year-old have her eye on? “I also like the fruit prints, they’re really kind of crazy and out there. That’s Haley as well,” she said.

Off-set and on dry land, Hyland, is most excited about the Marc Jacobs‘ bag that she got for her birthday and the Olsen twins’ style because, “I’m like their size,” she said before being ushered away for a Twitter chat. With these colorful swimwear additions, we’re counting down the days until summer, or at least spring break!
