Lea Michele kicked off the summer in smoking hot style, attending last night’s LA Screenings Lot Party at Twentieth Century Fox Studio Lot in vixen-like attire. Her beaded silk and chantilly trimmed dress, straight from the Roberto Cavalli Spring 2013 collection, proved to be pure style seduction. A subtle side slit and sexy Brian Atwood ankle-strap peep toe heels added to the alluring look. Michele polished things off with a deep berry pout, kohl rimmed eyes, a white hot mani, and a bed-head type updo. We’ve seen the Glee star in lingerie inspired black lace and embellished dresses before, and with her dark complexion and exotic features, she nails it every time. Get Michele’s ensemble with the pieces below and achieve a similarly racy result that looks chic rather than cheap.

Back in February, Anne Hathaway made headlines when she made a last minute decision to skip the Valentino gown she had planned on wearing to the 2013 Oscars and instead walked the red carpet in a blush Prada number with an interesting bust design. In an exclusive statement to People Magazine, Hathaway explained, “It came to my attention late Saturday night that there would be a dress worn to the Oscars that is remarkably similar to the Valentino I had intended to wear, and so I decided it was best for all involved to change my plans.” The similar dress at the source of the controversy was the Alexander McQueen design donned by none other than Hathaway’s Les Miserables co-star, Amanda Seyfried. Given Hathaway’s longstanding relationship with Valentino, the snub came as a surprise.
And yet, can it be that her discarded dress has gotten its moment in the spotlight after all? Nicole Kidman stunned onlookers in a beautiful high-neck Valentino Haute Couture gown, detailed with an off white floral lace overlay and small train at Cannes. The dress proved strangely similar to Seyfried’s look at the Oscars, boasting the same type of silhouette and romantic style. A spokesperson for Valentino, however, reported to Us Weekly exclusively that Kidman’s Cannes look is not in fact the same dress that Hathaway threw to the curb last minute. A shame, really. We’re sure the gorgeous number deserves to be seen on the red carpet!
You’ve got the jazziest jelly accessories in town and manage to cover-up in a sexy way with slinky one-piece swimsuits. But there’s one thing missing from your Memorial Day bag: a bold and bright beach towel to match your eye-catching style. With sand, surf, and sun in your near future, you don’t want to skimp on the one essential that will help you brave the warm-weather elements. Don’t you dare grab a drab dry-off from your linen closet—we don’t have time for that. But what we can squeeze in is a last-minute visit to retailers like Barneys and Bed Bath & Beyond where beach towels abound. From abstract prints to luxurious lines, these beach towels will take you from the poolside barbecue to pretty beaches and more!

Finally, Kate Hudson’s capsule collection for Ann Taylor is on sale! She designed a collection of simple, lightweight dresses, tops and skirts in all white with coordinating accessories, according to Elle UK. This is a step up for Hudson, who has been the face of the brand since 2012.
“I’m so excited about the capsule collection and working with Ann Taylor,” Hudson told Elle UK. “It was such an honor when they asked me to work on a collection inspired by my personal style.”
We mean, who wouldn’t want to channel Hudson’s personal style? When news broke that the company had tapped the actress to design a capsule collection and would continue to be the face of Ann Taylor, we couldn’t wait to get our hands on it!

It would appear Cannes has its own bling ring targeting only high-end baubles. First Chopard was hit, then movie exec Zhang Qiang had all of his luggage stolen. What’s the latest heist to take place? Swiss jewelry de Grisogono announced that a necklace worth $2.6 million was stolen from a 20th anniversary party for the brand at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc earlier this week. Sharon Stone, Paris Hilton, Chris Tucker, and Stacey Keibler were in attended the party when the heist took place.
The necklace was a part of de Grisogono’s 20th anniversary high jewelry collection, which was on display at the party, according to Women’s Wear Daily.

Carine Roitfeld sure knows how to party! She wanted to take advantage of Cannes Film Festival’s screening Cleopatra and the coinciding 20th anniversary of amfAR. And what better way than to throw a lavish all-gold-fashion show?
Roitfeld brought in huge names like Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls, Lily Donaldson, Anna Dello Russo, and her daughter Julia Restoin-Roitfeld. In total, 38 looks were modeled but here’s the even more impressive part: the whole collection was auctioned off afterwards for $1.56 million. The money goes to AIDS research, if that makes it easier to part with your hard-earned cash.
Other items auctioned at the show include a trip to space (apparently Leonardo DiCaprio won that), a week in Donna Karan’s Caribbean home, a portrait session with Annie Leibovitz, and a ton more (clearly, to raise $25 million, right?).
