My fave model Agyness Deyn has been spotted riding her chic bicycle about NYC for some time now. It got me thinking. Maybe there’s something to this bike thing. So I went searching, and I found a pink bike that’s hot and supports Breast Cancer Awareness month. It’s called the Women’s Forge Athena-V Comfort Bike in Hope Pink. You can purchase it at www.target.com for $229.99 and partial proceeds will benefit the American Breast Cancer Foundation. I can’t wait to tool around town in my new and quite cute mode of transportation. ~ Maria Denardo

Taking care of our health and the environment tend to go hand-in-hand. What better way to illustrate this than a limited edition Earth Totes Pink Tote to support breast cancer research and a clean planet? The canvas bag with a pink recycle logo is available at www.earthtotes.org. The large tote is $18 while the jumbo one is $22. $5 from each bag will go toward the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade. This is a simple yet easy way to lesson our footprint by opting out of plastic bags and into reusable cloth versions. (And it’s far trendier!) ~ Maria Denardo

Love/Avon Army of Women, an organization started by the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation and the Avon Foundation, is offering up a holiday gift that keeps on giving. Army of Women ambassadors such as Marcia Cross, Daisy Fuentes, Danica Patrick, and Felicity Huffman will be among many giving out the “Beyond a Cure” Pendant. Each necklace is only $5! (That’s practically free!) You can buy it from www.armyofwomen.org. The money will go directly into Army of Women where they will use the funds to aid in finding the root cause of breast cancer and stopping the disease before it starts. The website is stocked with great information. Their current project is a study involving women who have had breast cancer and their sisters to determine the genetic and environmental risk factors for the disease. What would the world look like without breast cancer? Let’s find out… ~ Maria Denardo
