Although “thinking green” seems to be steadily becoming more and more of a regular topic of conversation over the past couple of years, with Earth Day coming up on April 22nd, it’s especially on the forefront of everyone’s mind this month. That being the case, I thought it would be a great topic to touch on here at GlamDish!
When you’re entertaining for a large crowd and need an inexpensive and convenient way to serve food and drinks without having to purchase 50+ sets of “real” dishes and drinkware – or maybe you’re hosting any size of a gathering at a park or other outdoor location where glass and ceramic isn’t practical – being eco-chic can get a bit tricky. There are some great alternatives to the typical paper plate and plastic fork however – one of my favorite options being the line of earth friendly and elegant-looking Veneerware party supplies from Bambu™, which are pictured above. Bambu’s Veneerware is made from 100% organically-grown bamboo and will biodegrade within 4-6 months of disposal!
