The only thing better than a good cocktail is a good, clever cocktail. This one definitely falls into that category. (Besides, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE bourbon.) If a nice, strong drink demands to be part of your Thanksgiving celebration, consider this alternative form of turkey with all the fixin’s! Bonus: You can’t over- or under-cook it!
Thanksgiving 101 Cocktail
Cranberries and rosemary make great traditional “side-dishes,” so you’ll have a well-rounded Thanksgiving meal. It’s so easy to prepare, there’s no need to learn how to cook!
Wild Turkey 101 bourbon
Cranberries
Rosemary
Pour the Wild Turkey 101 into an ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with cranberries and a sprig of rosemary, and raise your glass in thanks!

That looks SO good! I am usually more of a vodka girl, but when it gets cold out I always crave bourbon (in a totally healthy way, i swear!)
And for us less-talented cooks out there, here’s a great “dolled-up” comfort food recipe for it to land on: http://urbzen.com/2008/11/13/comfort-food-for-grownups/
