Celebrity Designers

Apparently, it’s not enough these days to be a successful actress/model/pop star/celebrity, now stars want designer cred and their own label to boot! With the success of Gwen, Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez, who wouldn’t want to dapple in clothing designs (not to mention fragrance, shoes, handbags)? I’m all for this celebrity designer trend since, in most cases; stars are bringing their high priced style to affordable outlets like Top Shop and H&M. Assuming the majority of these collections will be selling out as soon as the hit the retail floor, I toured around the Network to get a sneak peek at the pieces worth throwing elbows for come launch day insanity. Check out the hot Star designer labels…

M by Madonna for H&M
Popbytes has shots of the Madge’s second collection for the Swedish company and video of her sassy commercial!

Shiny-Shiny was inside the shop getting her hands on the “classic and chic collection” and great accessories.

Glam has a slideshow of the Material Girl herself modeling her H&M designs. (I want the white trench!)

Kate Moss for Top Shop
Coquette has shots of Kate and her team designing the collection.

My Fashion Life has video of Kate, her inspirations and fittings of her designs.

Faded Youth has a first glimpse of Kate’s final designs inside British Vogue. (I am loving the white dress and blue tux!)

Bitten by Sarah Jessica Parker for Steve & Barry’s
“Each piece will only cost $20 or less.” Couture in the City has even more info!

Allie is Wired has the background on the retailer selling Bitten.

SheFinds knows when and where to get your hands on SJP’s designs!

Even More Star Designers
Catwalk Queen has the inside scoop on lines by Helena Christensen, BFFs Katie Holmes-Cruise and Victoria “Posh” Beckham, and trend setting sisters Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen.

Stay classy,

Annie

P.S. Which celeb line are you dying to get your hands on?
