Rachel Ray, Watch Out!

So, I’ve recently become quite the cook. Or, perhaps more accurately, I have recently been attempting to cook. Most things have turned out edible and even quite tasty (chicken tortilla soup, corn salad), while others have been tossed in the trash (Japanese seaweed salad).  Although I’ve had my share of failed cuisine, I’m still enjoying the process and confident enough to try my hand at a few challenging recipes. I checked out the Glam Network for helpful hints and scrumptious meal ideas. Here’s what’s keepin’ me occupied in the kitchen…

I love sipping the tea, so why wouldn’t I love Green Tea Madeleines. I am eager to try Chubby Hubby’s recipe (especially since he claims it was “pretty easy”)!

The occasional serving of “Trashy” food can’t be all that bad, right? That’s why I’m going to attempt Nigella Lawson’s Ham in Coca Cola. Foodie Obsessed has tips to make the delicious and easy dish!

I gave up chocolate for lent this year (not very religious but appreciate the occasional personal challenge), I know regret that decision. I plan to stuff myself with Cadbury eggs come Sunday, and I will also (most definitely) be trying my hand at Chocolate Byte’s The Black Beast, “a simple but sinfully decadent flourless chocolate cake!”

From Crispy Potato Pancakes to Vietnamese Pork Chops, The Food Section selections have me drooling over my keyboard! Delish!

With Less than 3 grams of fat, how could I resist cookin’ up Acapulco Shrimp. Nubella has thousands of recipes in low fat, low calorie, low sodium and other healthy categories.

I am planning to fix up a few of these effortless appetizers for a cocktail party tomorrow night!

Stay classy,

Annie

P.S. Do you have a favorite recipe? Feel free to pass it on over to me ( I’ll let you know how it turns out)!
