One of the great things about fashion is that it allows people express themselves visually however they choose. Now, I’m all for self-expression, unique viewpoints and individuality, but sometimes a passerby’s appearance leaves me wondering “what were they thinking.” Recently, I’ve noticed several “interesting” fashion/style highlights across the Glam Network and now I’m wondering if maybe it’s just that my own style outlook is just boring/reserved/blah. So take a look and let me know…”Would You Wear It?”

After months of searching, Ask Fashion Kitty finally found the sequin shorts she first spotted by Chanel. Fashion Kitty questioned color choices, but I’m questioning if anyone had the guts (and the perfect bod) to confidently strut these babies in public! Like Kiss and Makeup, I thought Scrunchies were reserved for 80’s costumes and/or maybe bedtime. But with Sienna Miller seen sporting one (in public no less), could this mean they’re making a comeback?   

I like the wide leg denim trend the celebs are loving, but I’m not sure if they are meant for my short stature.   Check out the poll results on Juicy-News to see the consensus on the style.

The Budget Fashionista recently asked her readers if they were planning to wear knee high socks this fall. Could they really be a big trend this season. The poll was close, see if “yea” or “nay” won out.  Will you be sporting them?

Though they may not be the most stylish, there is no denying that Crocs are definitely popular! I’ve tried a pair on, and yes they’re comfortable, but I’d never be caught dead in them. She may have gone to rehab after all, but aside from her ironic hit song, Amy Winehouse’s has also gained major attention for her eye-catching make-up. The songstress has brought back the alluring cat-eye look in full-effect. Like many gals, I’ve have been inspired to swoop on a lil’ extra liner (or is it shadow?) for flirty appeal but I’m unsure about how to do it or the best products to use. So, Glam Network to the rescue. Check out what the publishers are saying about this haute new beauty trend!

eBeautyDaily recently concluded her “Show Me Your Cat Eye’s Contest” and her winners received Beth Bender’s Get In Line Eye Kits to advance their feline inspired looks. Check out the popular video on how to use the kit’s genius stencils at home and get Amy Winehouse fans drooling! 

Hot Moma Daily is equally as impressed with the cat eye tend, but suggests replicating Angelina over Amy for a more subdued application. If subdued isn’t your style, the post also includes Beyonce’s exaggerated version (and her video “Kitty Kat”).  

Makeup Bag predicted this popular beauty trend back in February when she spotted it on the Luca Luca Runway.  The models strutted with “graphite cat eyes that were all about “power and strength.” Be sure to check out the other recaps on beauty trends straight from Fall Fashion Week catwalks.
