Way back in April, I first filled you in on the BE DISCOVERED contest from Marie Claire and Glam, looking for the next great handbag designer.
After the top 24 bag designs were selected, three weeks of voting ensued, to finally end with 8 very talented finalists who then made their designs come to life with constructed bags. Next, came the panel of judges consisting of several fashion industry players who picked the final winning handbag! Click here to see the design/designer that won a trip to New York and a day serving as Guest Accessories Editor at Marie Claire.
That’s not the last of this cool BE DISCOVERED competition, now you can bid on the 8 finalist bags on ebay, with proceeds going to The New York Foundation For The Arts. Get bidding on these one of a kinds, because these designers will surely be big shots (with much bigger price tags) in no time, move over Marc Jacobs!
