Beauty News - New Products for Fall 2007

Fall calls for fall beauty and we’re noticing new beauty products that are coming out in fall colors. Shades of brown, crimson, ruby red, and off white are part of everything from the products to the packaging.

Glam Publisher Halloween Party - Etiquette Lounge San Francisco

On Thursday October 25, 2007 we got the chance to meet our San Francisco publishers at the Etiquette Lounge for a night of drinks, h’orderves, and great vibes.

The Halloween themed party matched the Etiquette Lounge decor perfectly - it was all black and red with a touch of white. Several publishers around the Bay Area attended the event and we want to thank them for such a great turn out. Here are some images from Glam’s Publisher Halloween Party:

Since I’m a Chicago native who moved to San Francisco a few years back to pursue my career in fashion, I still have a great deal of admiration when I hear about the fashion community in Chicago. I can definitely say the Second City has come a long way and now hosts their own fashion week.

I’m happy to say I covered the first ever Chicago Fashion Week and it seems to be getting better every year. Nylon Magazine picked up on its new popularity and covered Chicago Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2008. Check out more at Nylon Mag.

Refinery 29 - Blonde Ambition - Chloe Sevegny for Open Ceremony

Actress and New York scenester, Chloe Sevigny launched a new line called Choe Sevigny for Open Ceremony. The collection features a backless cropped pink sweater, a sheer black Jody Whatley-esque dress, and a porkpie hat made of recycled cassette tapes according to Lesley Arfin’s interview with the young and hip actress.
