Belle en Rykiel Eau de ParfumSometimes Parisian fashion can be a tad bit pricey. Maybe it's the conversion rate between the dollar and the euro, or, ahem, the overall state of the economy, but unfortunately the closest some of us will get to anything French right now is french fries.

Or is it?

Meet Belle en Rykiel Eau de Parfum, French designer Sonia Rykiel's latest olfactory offering. Celebrating 40 fabulous years in the fashion biz, this oriental fragrance features enchanting notes of red currant, lavender, incense, patchouli, and amber. A warm, sensual scent, pick it up if your jonesing for something Parisian, or at the very least, a new pretty perfume.

Available at Beauty.com for $50.

As world markets collapse, dollars disappear and financial security fears hover in the foreground, this week I offer a simple tip I picked up from Nora Burnett at the Light on Yoga Festival yesterday.

Stability is more important than flexibility.

willowtree1.gifOn one hand, she was referring to a yoga pose.  She said that even if you're completely flexible, without that foundation and grounding, your pose won't work. So it is vital to be stable from the beginning and let your flexibility grow out of those roots. It was obvious that she was speaking metaphorically too.

So whatever your situation may be and even if uncertainty and fear bubbles up inside...

Give yourself a moment to stand steady and strong.
Imagine roots growing out of your feet.
Let the ever changing climate simply blow through your leaves
Gently bow and bend with your limbs.
Rustling leaves makes beautiful music.

Happy Week,
Rebecca

But thus far ... I've been a bit disappointed with The Office. Last night's episode wasn't the laugh-out-loud kinda humor I always expect and anticipate. And I sorta felt that way about the first episode too. (Gasp.) I need me some more Dwight, Jim, Pam, and Michael ... I need the awkward moments and the silly banter. I'm crossing my fingers that next week lives up to my expectations.

What do you think? ... Do you think it's as good as it's ever been?

P.S. Do you "steal" time at work? ...

I'm loving this story on EW ... They're counting down the 25 bad-to-bone chicks who could like totally beat you up!

Terminator's Summer Glau makes the list. She's hardcore.
