Cool Cocktail: The Yellow Tomato Martini

With summer upon us we at Glam.com decided it was time to seek out a potion that represents the best of the season’s edible bounty and simultaneously cools down and fires up the upcoming steamy nights.

Enter the sexy Yellow Tomato Martini.

Straight from Miami’s exclusive Y Ultralounge, this refreshingly tasty tonic tantalizes with the seductive flavor of ripe tomato, a hot, wet kiss of fiery Tobasco, and a sassy dash of lime. One sip and you’ll never look at the standard salad embellishment the same way again.

Yellow Tomato Martini

1 1⁄2 oz Ketel One vodka
2oz Fresh juiced (or blended and strained) yellow tomato
1/3 of a bar spoon of alaea sea salt
7 drops of Green Tabasco,
Juice of 1⁄2 a lime
7 drops Worcester

In an ice-filled shaker, combine the tomato juice, sea salt, Tobasco, limejuice, and Worchester. Add the vodka, shake, strain into a martini glass, and serve with a skewer of three baby yellow tomatoes.
