Well, it’s Friday! I’ve been working on a lot of articles this week–two for In Style, a couple for Glam.com, and something really exciting for Domaine Chandon (more on that later).
I have so much I want to tell you, but it’s 7pm and I still have tons of work to do before I can put my feet up, wash my face, and call it a day. So I’ll keep it brief, but tasty. And on Monday I promise to follow up with the most exciting summer salad you’ll try all year!
First, a few really fun links I found while perusing our network partners’ sites this week:
Crime and Hello Kitty Punishment
Is Thailand really using Hello Kitty to punish rogue cops?

I SO loved this Hello Kitty post by ChipChick that I put it on Glam.com’s lifestyle home page for the week. I have a personal affinity for HK because aside from being irresistibly cute, I was busted stealing $30 worth of logo stuff when I was 10 years old. I was in a 5 & Dime store stuffing a bunch of it up the sleeves of my down jacket. Apparently a clerk saw and pulled off my jacket, saying in a suspecting voice, “Something up your sleeve?!” That phrase became my posse’s saying for years to come. And we did laugh about it after my partner in crime threw up out of fright in the parking lot. (My mom came and released me from store custody.)

Baker’s-Edge Brownies

For those who love crisp edges on their brownies, this baking dish featured on GizmoDiva.com is a gift from god.

Miss Piggy Rules

Continuing on my regression to all things childhood, what’s not to love about words of wisdom from one of our early-adapter power chicks? Thanks to JessicaCutlerOnline.com for pointing it out.

Truth is, making souffle isn’t hard. But throwing a frozen version in the oven and pulling it out to a standing dinner-table ovation is even easier. GirlaWhirl.com turned me on to this freezer favorite sure to steal hearts and win foodie fans.
Also, if you didn’t have time to read through every post this week, check out the best of the Glam blogs as seen by our editors:
GlamBlush features Sara Jessica Parker’s new fragrance and commercial.
GlamChic divulges the details on the Ultimate Bagaholic Contest.
GlamLive offers highlights on a throw-down Glam Network party in NYC.
GlamNest (er, me) hits L.A. for jewelry designer Dominique Cohen’s Target line launch party–with Rosario Dawson.
GlamScene scopes out the celebrity scene in the Hamptons.
GlamSpirit gets groovy with naked yoga.
GlamSpree takes a look at celebrities and their denim.
Then there’s my personal favorite of the week: Hostess with the Mostess’s guest blog on entertaining essentials. Check it out and have a fab weekend.

I keep thinking that this Hello Kitty thing would hardly be a punishment in Japan. When I was briefly in Tokyo I saw lots of guys (of all ages) with Hello Kitty stuff.
