Sometimes it seems as though everyone is in it for themselves. This can be especially true of the car industry. From buying to routine maintenance and major repairs, you’ve got to be car-smart and just a little wary to make sure you don’t get ripped off. Driverside.com is a new website that is on our side when it comes to all things automotive.
Driverside covers incredibly useful information such as recall news, articles, reviews of more than 230,000 repair mechanics, and search features that locate the best repair shop in your area for your specific auto make and need. It also determines what you should expect to pay for parts and services based on your location. There’s even a feature that allows you to submit questions to their in-house mechanics for free. For those looking to sell, the site lists the car for free and automatically sends the custom listing to Google, and buyers can peruse more than 4 million listings.
Since the site’s launch in July, more than a million users have used Driverside, half of them women. It involves a simple free online registration (no more than a name, email, and zip code required) and then users are allowed access to the site’s wealth of information. The site’s still in beta but with its all-inclusive and customized approach, Driverside has already set itself apart as a must-visit for any car owner.
