I’m Dreaming of Red Velvet Cake From Neiman Marcus

rv

When you think of Neiman Marcus, you probably imagine dresses, coats, bags, and jewels. But, for me, Neiman Marcus conjures images of decadent cakes and ooey-gooey melt-in-your-mouth cookies. The sinful sweets at the in-store cafes are delightfully delicious and as pleasing to the eye as the designer sale rack a few floors down. And I prefer to splurge in calories rather than dollars.

But unfortunately (and fortunately!) for me, there’s no Neiman Marcus close by, so I rarely get to sink my fork into a slice of their rich and heavenly red velvet cake. It’s by far the best red-velvet I’ve ever tasted (and I consider myself a connoisseur!) With the holidays here, I can rationalize ordering a whole red velvet cake from Neimans. With its festive colors, subtle chocolate taste, and creamy sweet frosting, it’s the perfect dessert for the holiday table. It serves eight … But if I’m around,  it serves two at best.

$55.00 plus delivery and processing.

P.S. Neiman Marcus is also famous for their chocolate chip cookies. And their exclusive mix makes a great little giftie for only $24! … I say embrace a few extra holiday pounds.
