Sweet Dessert Displays

Our favorite dessert-display diva Amy Atlas was sweet enough to send us a sneak peek at her latest creations for Brides magazine. These three beautiful buffets are absolutely awe-inspiring. I can’t wait to steal a few of her amazing ideas for my upcoming summer soirees…

1

Details on the Vintage Table
Amy and her team created an aqua and magenta theme for the decor and desserts.  They included a birds-and-blooms wedding cake and nostalgic goodies like salt water taffy, malted balls, ribbon candy, an old fashioned buttercream cake and dahlia cupcakes.

2

Chocolate Spice Table
For this tantalizing table, they spiced things up with chili-and-naga curry-infused truffles, rosewater malban, pyramid-shaped chocolates, sesame candy and a macaron tower. For decorative elements, they included lanterns and a pussy willow branch display. They even sewed together burlap fabric to create spice sacks to give the table a “Moroccan-market” motif.

3

Details on Citrus Chevron Table
For this table, Amy and her team incorporated a bright citrus color palette of tangerine, lemon and lime with a modern chevron zig-zag pattern. They created a ribbon garland, clementine centerpiece, as well as chevron-patterned cakes, cupcakes, popcorn cups and favor bags. They also put out passion-fruit marshmallows and citrus meringue buttercream sandwiches.
