John Derian for Target
By LAUREN BARTH 08.26.2010
I’m absolutely in love with John Derian’s latest collection for Target. Talk about cheap and chic … I never imagined that I’d find such incredible and quirky home decor, accents, and accessories at such an affordable price point. A New York City-based artist famed for his unique and inspired aesthetic, Derian has always had a passion for nature, travel, and culture. And his appetite for life is evident in all of his kitschy-cool designs. Derian pioneered the trend of decoupage — the art of layering images over a decorative background — to create stunning works of art when he opened his eponymous company in 1989. His fabulous NYC boutique continues to boast beautiful pieces with astounding price tags. But now everyone can own an authentic Derian design without spending a small fortune. While his previous two collections for Target were wildly successful, we think his latest line, available in stores and online on September 5th, might just be his best yet. Here are a few of the amazing items on my wish-list. Wooden Frames, $24.99 Picture Frames, $9.99 Trays, $1.99 – $16.99 Three-Tier Tray Small Accordion Files, $3.99
Notebooks, $2.50 – $4.99 each Sponsored By:
