Valspar Has Celebs Painting for a Purpose
By Angel Lenise Robinson June 22,2012
What do you get when you mix a world-famous supermodel, a reality television sweetheart, and a foxy foodie, with a little hue overhaul and a lot of humanity? Valspar Color Project. The paint and coatings manufacturer has paired up with a few household names to explore their passions, capture their color journeys, and raise money and awareness for the work of Habitat for Humanity.
You can watch as model, mogul, and new mom Molly Sims converts her baby nursery into a zen garden; “Top Chef” host Padma Lakshmi turns up the heat in her kitchen — literally — with a red hot hue; and “Laguna Beach” success story Lauren Conrad transforms her white-walled office into a think pink creative space. And while you’re connecting with these celebs through color, watching the video and sharing through your social networks will raise money for Habitat for Humanity’s commitment to providing decent housing for low-income families around the world. It’s that simple: less than two minutes of your time to watch, share, and raise $1 to build homes for families in need. You can check out the latest installment to the Valspar Color Project with LC’s “brushed rose” renewal for her preen Paper Crown collection below, and don’t forget to share!
